I’m propose something, personally. That is I take 64 photos over 64 days and use nothing but my phone to do it.
Okay, this is one of those “50-50″ or “7 Days of Self” filthy photo memes, but this is different; I came up with it (I hope till somebody points me to some web celeb and goes “you fucking douche you stole this from Drep! Lololooolilops”). But the idea here is that you take a photo with the given device and upload to Instagram; so you can’t move it off the device and do some of that photo-pro-tools stuff, you got to use what ever is on your device. So with my self I have an iPhone 4 so I can take photos with that with something like Camera+, process them with Big Lens, then do some more with Instagram and up load the photo from there.
Simple enough premise I think, but I also need to only use photos I’ve taken that day and upload them before midnight; no banking or using ones on the phone already. Only allowance is if something happens to my phone or I cannot get signal to upload from my phone. Other than that, one miss and it’s over!
I’ll try to post a weekly update of the photos I take, but I’m a busy dude with a Girlie to please and make toast for, so don’t expect much.
I’m starting this on Friday the 1st of June, which should take me up to Friday the 3rd of August (if I’ve learned to count correctly, and judging by my early school years is debatable). Could be an interesting challenge and something that should go to show that anybody can take a good picture and not need a £2000 SLR with a few thousand pounds worth of lenses and lighting equipment; nope, just an iPhone or Android (or anything else Instagram is on)… well, I might end up getting some of those iPhone camera lenses, but nothing expensive!
Just as a little preview, this is some of the pictures I worked on over the weekend while sat in the garden with my iPhone.
