First time I heard ‘Glycerine‘ was on a music TV channel and I let it fly by; just didn’t grab me for what ever reason.
Ten years later I’m hear now writing about how hauntingly beautiful the song is.
When ever I listen to this I have to play it a few times before I can leave it alone. I’m not sure if others get it but I feel it taps into some memory and grabs it. But I do get that warm fuzzy feeling of being a teen again listening to it.
I’m not really a Bush fan per-say, but this has to be one of my favourite songs of all time.
Interesting facts about the video is that it was filmed in America while on tour, but in a very short time due to the group’s visas’ where about to expire. So on that note it’s a very simple video but despite that it won a number of awards. Something that designers know is that limitation can actually expand your creative output and this just goes to show.
