It’s almost four years to the day that I started working for a small company called JustClick International. It was my first job out of Uni and my first job as a web developer. Bloody nervous and wondering if I could even do the job, I walked in and found my self in a the perfect job.
Now, after being involved in some major launches, a name change and expansion, I’ve decided to move my career as a web developer away from Infoactive Media to a different pasture to expand my skills and learn more about the web development industry.
It’s been great working with everybody at Infoactive and a real good laugh at times, couldn’t of asked for a better team to have worked with in my first full-time job. I am sad to see bid fair-well to the company and to all the talent that worked there who have also taught me so much more than I could have lernt in any school environment and provided me with a lot of positive feedback that’s kept me going with them for so long. It’s strange to be gone, exciting and scary! But I wish everybody at Infoactive Media good luck and a warning that I shall be popping in at points to make sure they remember who I am.
The Next Place
I shall be moving to a company just 5 minutes down the road; Fubra, who have built sites like PetrolPrices.com and OurProperty.co.uk but also provide hosting solutions CatN. Or if you are a bit of a PHP zealot then you might have noticed they are one of the mirror sites for PHP UK.
They do some fairly exciting stuff, and despite how nervous I am it’s quite exciting at the same time! Just hope everything tomorrow goes well tomorrow…
